Thank you for registering for Saint Mary’s Basketball High Potential Development Camp! We are excited to get you on campus and get to work with you on the court! Here is some more information for you regarding the camp...

The camp will take place at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, CA.

Check in for Overnight Campers: 9:30am to 10:15am – Tuesday August 1, 2017

Overnight Campers will check in from 9:30am-10:15am in front of De La Salle Hall. Once you enter the front of campus, take a right at the security station and then park in the lot on your left across from the Baseball field. Signage will direct you to the overnight check in. After you check in and get your belongings in your dorm, you will then check in at the lobby in McKeon Pavilion from 10:15am-11:00am to get your camp jersey.

Check in for Commuters: 10:15am to 11:00am – Tuesday August 1, 2017

Commuters will check in at the lobby in McKeon Pavilion (home of the Gaels) from 10:15am-11:00am. Once you enter the front of campus you will take a left at the security station and follow signs up to McKeon located at the top left corner of campus. Please follow the signs once you arrive on campus and check in at the lobby.

All Campers:

Please note that after check-in in the lobby from 10:15-11:00am, from 11:15am to 11:45am Head Coach Randy Bennett will greet you and introduce the rest of the coaching staff, as well as go through the rules and procedures for the camp. After this introduction, campers will be dismissed to lunch. There is no need to be prepared for any physical activity until after lunch. The afternoon session will begin at 1:15pm.

  • 11:15am-11:45am – Welcome / Rules & Procedures
  • 11:45am-1:00pm - Lunch
  • 1:15pm - Afternoon Session Begins

For the camp, please consider bringing extra workout gear (including socks and maybe shoes), as each day will consist of multiple (practice) sessions. Gatorade and water will be provided. There is a possibility we will be using the swimming pool on Wednesday August 2nd- please bring a swimsuit with you to camp for that day.

  • McKeon Pavilion
  • Madigan Gym (practice facility)
  • Alioto Recreation Center

Commuters:

  • Check in for Commuters: 10:15am to 11:00am
  • On Tuesday and Wednesday, the camp will start at 9am and end at 8:30pm.
  • On Thursday, the camp will start at 9am and end at 4:00pm.
  • The gym will be open at 8:30am sharp every day.

Meals:

  • All meals will take place at Oliver Hall in the center of campus (see map).  You must have a lanyard/key (overnight campers) or wristband (Commuter with meals) in order to enter and eat.

Overnight Campers:

  • Check in for Overnight Campers: 9:30am to 10:15am
  • Check out will be on Thursday from 4:00pm-4:30pm.

You will be staying in De la Salle Hall (see attached map)

***Please do not lose your key as each replacement will cost you $75.  Your key allows you to get into Oliver Hall (cafeteria) as well.  

Pizza will be available for purchase after the conclusion of the evening sessions.

Laundry:

You will have the option to have your camp jersey washed each night by our camp staff if you so choose. There will also be washers and dryers available in the dorms if you would like to do your own laundry. Machines take coins or cards. Detergent will not be provided.

Each Room is Completely Barren & Will Only Consist of:

  • Mattress
  • Desk

You will need:

  • Bedding (sleeping bag is fine)
  • Pillow
  • Towel(s)
  • Toiletries (soap and shampoo)
  • Clothes to lounge/sleep in
  • Snacks (if you want)
